Korean-Canadian producer Hyunji-A debuts on TOR with a prolific pairing, showcasing her knack for enticing & emotive grooves. She's been turning heads in her hometown Montreal through a riveting residency at the esteemed Stereo, and her production career is well underway with releases flowing on the likes of OneDotSixTwo and 3rd Avenue.

Ticking Clock opens with restrained & floaty drum programming allowing meandering melodics to claim control of the mood. A warmly rounded bassline ignites a smooth groove, as the lush vocal performance arrives in full. Perfectly positioned at the cross between foreground & melodic elements, Hyunji's performance is sure to catch the ear of global selectors in the winter to come.

On the flip, Exploration steers our journey is a more ominous direction, cutting straight to the club with a hearty kick. Synthetic flavors surround the arrangement, allowing just a moment of respite before the dance-forward flow returns in full. A jam cut straight from the cloth of her experiences in the Montreal afterhours.
